Durham Artists, Group Art Exhibition

Tina Monod, Ontario, June 3, 2016 – This spring I am very pleased to be sharing my art in the show “Art Heals” supporting and encouraging local artists to explore the power of personal transformation of art and healing. Sometimes creating art is the seed, which helps to nurture something amazing and beautiful. Be it a specific instance or a process of healing, artists are able to help others through their experiences and self-expression.

Opening Reception will be Friday, June 3rd, 6 pm – 8 pm at Ontario Shores Art Gallery in Whitby, Ontario. Show runs May 25th until June 29th, 2016. Special thanks to Liz Onley-Wiseman, Manager Volunteer Services at Ontario Shores Art Gallery and her team; Allan O’Marra, Curator and Artist; Celina Caesar-Chavannes, MP for Whitby, Government of Canada; Mayor Don Mitchell, Town of Whitby; Elizabeth Roy, Regional Councillor, Town of Whitby; and Chris Leahy, Councillor, West Ward, Town of Whitby!
